Andrew Grochowski

Andrew has been a management consultant since 1985. He worked with PA Consulting Group for eight years and was subsequently a founder director of Austin Mayhead & Co (public sector consultants) and a director at Tribal Group plc. He is a specialist in change management, service development, procurement and public sector performance improvement.

Andrew has undertaken a wide variety of leading-edge consultancy assignments over the past 20 years. These include major organisational restructuring, advising on all aspects of procurement, major outsourcing and partnering projects, reviewing client roles, leading national research programmes for central government, and financial turnaround of multi-million pound contractor operations. 

His published procurement guidance for local government has been widely adopted and he has contributed to Sweet & Maxwell's Public Procurement Law Review. He advises small firms on all aspects of preparing competitive tenders and undertaking contracts.

Andrew has worked on applying the EFQM Excellence Model, including a national initiative in Poland. He continues to work in business development within the enlarged EU.

Andrew was previously Director of a management services division; he worked with the DHSS Computers & Research Division, and held research posts in industry.
