The sub-regional Chamber of Commerce with 4,500 members across the East London area. LECP is made up of the Borough Chambers of Commerce that cover the Boroughs of Bexley & Greenwich, Barking & Dagenham, Hackney, Havering, Lewisham, Newham, Redbridge, Lewisham, and Tower Hamlets.

As an Enterprise Agency ELSBC is able to provide access to funding ranging from £1,500 for start-ups to £250,000 for mazanine finance. Incubation space is also available in the City and in Docklands.
The LCCI Information Centre has produced a series of free Business Guides on key business topics for members. There are also a number of additional Business Guides that are provided freely to both members and non-members on issues of national importance to the business community.
